Certificate of Conformity SKU Customer Reference Guide
All our Transceivers, Direct Attach, Active Optical and Fibre Optic Cables conform to the below environmental and safety standards. As it is unfeasible to create SKU specific certifications for every one of our 5000+ available SKUs, we have designed a nomenclature structure that covers all form factors and technical formats that we sell and hence are covered by these certifications. Further details are available in our Certificate of Conformity SKU Reference Guide. Please contact us if you require further assistance.

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
The directive (EU) 2015/863 known as RoHS 3 specifies maximum levels for the following 10 restricted substances: Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls, Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers, Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate, Benzyl butyl phthalate, Dibutyl phthalate, Diisobutyl phthalate.
Since RoHS 2, this standard includes a CE-marking directive, with RoHS compliance now being required for the CE marking of products. Visit https://www.rohsguide.com for more information.
CE (EMC)
Meeting the requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, 2014/30/EU is an essential part of the CE Marking process. EMC ensures that an electronics product does not adversely affect or be affected by other products in the same environment.
The letters ‘CE’ appear on many products traded on the extended Single Market in the European Economic Area (EEA). They signify that products sold in the EEA have been assessed to meet high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements. Although this is essentially an EEA certification, it is generally accepted globally. Visit https://single-market-economy.ec.europa.eu/single-market/ce-marking_en for more information.
FCC
FCC is a mandatory certification mark for electronic equipment and electronics that are manufactured or sold in the USA.
This marking certifies that a specific product complies with standards of the Federal Communications Commission regarding electromagnetic interference. Electromagnetic interference from the device must be under limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
The FCC Directive applicable to our products is FCC directive 47 CFR FCC Part 15 Subpart B (Class B)
REACH
REACH is a European Regulation and is an acronym for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. The overall aims of REACH are to provide a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the use of chemicals. Allow free movement of substances in the EU market.
