Multi Source Agreement (MSA) standard coding practices
MSA is a multi-vendor specification that defines form factors and interfaces of an optical transceiver. Manufacturers adhere to MSAs to ensure interoperability and interchangeability between interface modules.

‍With a compatibility guarantee and lifetime warranty on all our optical transceivers, DACs and AOCs you can be sure we only sell products that have been tested to meet or exceed the OEM specification in full compliance with all Multi Source Agreement (MSA) standard coding practices.

Each device is coded inhouse with appropriate firmware and is uniquely serialised for asset tracking. We update appropriate fields on the EEPROM based on the form factor, speed, reach, wavelength, vendor name and part number.

Our custom coding service follows the same protocols. Whether you require a compatible alternative to a specific OEM part number or a fully customised solution you can be confident we can deliver.

Certificate of Conformity (CE)
Our products comply with European health, safety, and environmental protection standards. The CE logo is displayed on all our products.  

Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)
Limits the use of hazardous substances in electronic equipment in European Union markets. The RoHS logo is displayed on all our products.  

Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
Limits the radio frequency emitted from an electrical product. The FCC logo is displayed on all our products.
